Who are you?

The FeeSaver are experienced property professionals with particular and extensive awareness of what sellers should expect from the estate agent they instruct to sell their house. (Back to Contact form)

How does your service work?
The FeeSaver can assist you to choose the right estate agent to sell your property. We contact the estate agent on your behalf and negotiate an extremely low commission rate for you. We work effectively against the tendency for some companies to massively overcharge their vendors for what they actually do and we give you a powerful negotiating strength which you do not otherwise have. We also use the collective buying power of many individual homeowners to help them get meaningful discounts. (Back to Contact form)

How does TheFeeSaver make its money?
The FeeSaver charges a relatively modest commission of a quarter of the saving that we make for you. If we do not obtain a reduction of at least a quarter (25%) off the normal baseline fee charged by your Estate Agent we will not charge you any fee. No Discount for you – No Fee for Us!

How do we know if the Fee has been reduced?
We trust you to give us your best estimate in the calculator of what you believe your estate agent may charge you were you to approach them direct. If you are not sure what their fee may be (understandably) then do not contact the Estate Agent; instead call us and we will try to establish this on your behalf. We will do this with you in an open and co-operative way. Just leave that part of the application form blank. Believe me, you will know we are saving you money!

How much can you reduce the fee by?
We expect to achieve a reduction of at least 25% (or a quarter) off the Estate Agents usual base line fee. We often achieve even greater reductions and often reduce estate agents fees by as much as 50% (or a half). Of course there is no absolute guarantee but No Discount for you – No Fee for Us!

At what point should we contact you?
As soon as you start thinking of selling. Call us first to discuss your choice and perhaps get our advice and expertise on which Estate Agents are going to be the most suitable ones for you. We can then assist you to arrange valuations on your behalf from your chosen Estate Agents and we will then be in the strongest possible position to ensure the fee is as low as we can get it for you.

I have already been in touch with my local Estate Agent about the sale of my property – Can I still use The FeeSaver?
Yes! We suggest that we talk to your Estate Agent on your behalf to see if we can re-negotiate the deal for you.

I hate dealing with Estate Agents: Can you help me with advice after the Agent is instructed with the marketing?
Yes! We offer an optional support and advice service which can give you helpful support through the many queries and decision points encountered in marketing the average property (let alone the exceptional one!) Just call us or Email us or tick the option box on the full online form. We strongly recommend this option.

How do we know we will get the same level of service from our estate agent through you?
The service should be the same or better as a result of our involvement.

Why do I need a Home Information pack?
It is extremely desirable, not absolutely essential that you authorise us to obtain a mandatory Home Information Pack for your property now so that we do not have to rely on the Estate Agent to provide this. You will not be able to go onto the market without one in place. If we can do this for you then it will enable us to negotiate more effectively. You will own and control your own HIP. There will be no temptation for the agent to “build up” your commission fee to include its cost. Our cost for a pack for a Freehold Property is £299. This is a very good deal from a leading firm of solicitors called ReallyHIP.

It will also enable you to de-instruct /move from one Estate Agent to another more easily in the event that you become unhappy with the service they provide you as your HIP will be your property and not theirs. Do visit our Useful Links page for more information.

Can you recommend a good firm of solicitors to handle the conveyancing and will they be competitive?
Yes we recommend Hammonds Direct with whom we have a close relationship. We can get you a very good price for your transaction from them. They employ over 70 qualified solicitors and 400 staff. Last year they carried out 130,000 conveyances. Just tick the box on the contact form for a quote.
